Check compatibility first
Use the ECU support list to find the relevant service and ECU family. A listed ECU family is a starting point; the exact hardware and software version still needs to match the requested solution.
File and diagnostic information
- Vehicle make, model, year and engine.
- ECU manufacturer, model, hardware and software identifiers where available.
- The original read, reading tool and read method.
- Diagnostic codes, symptoms and a clear description of the requested work.
