What to include in your request
Include EGR-related fault codes and whether the valve, actuator or associated sensors have been diagnosed. An ECU file service does not repair mechanical faults or establish their cause.
Check compatibility first
Use the ECU support list to find the relevant service and ECU family. A listed ECU family is a starting point; the exact hardware and software version still needs to match the requested solution.
File and diagnostic information
- Vehicle make, model, year and engine.
- ECU manufacturer, model, hardware and software identifiers where available.
- The original read, reading tool and read method.
- Diagnostic codes, symptoms and a clear description of the requested work.
