What to include in your request
Supply the original ECU read and the vehicle’s DPF fault report. Identify any existing modifications and whether the file was read through OBD, bench or boot. Support depends on the ECU software version, not just the vehicle model.
Check compatibility first
Use the ECU support list to find the relevant service and ECU family. A listed ECU family is a starting point; the exact hardware and software version still needs to match the requested solution.
File and diagnostic information
- Vehicle make, model, year and engine.
- ECU manufacturer, model, hardware and software identifiers where available.
- The original read, reading tool and read method.
- Diagnostic codes, symptoms and a clear description of the requested work.
