PayPal Standard - How it Works

  • Customers select a credit package from their dashboard
  • They are redirected to PayPal.com to complete payment securely
  • After payment, PayPal sends IPN (Instant Payment Notification)
  • Credits are added automatically to customer's account
  • No API credentials needed - just your PayPal business email!

Important Setup Steps

  1. Make sure your PayPal account is a Business Account
  2. Enable IPN in your PayPal account settings:
    • Go to PayPal → Settings → Notifications
    • Enable "Instant Payment Notifications"
    • Set Notification URL to: https://ecuedit.gr/api/paypal-ipn.php
  3. Test with PayPal Sandbox before going live

  2. Create a new API key with Merchant API permissions
  3. Copy the API key and paste it above

How to get your Stripe API Keys

  1. Click "Open Stripe API Keys" button above (or Test API Keys for testing)
  2. Copy your Publishable key (starts with pk_)
  3. Click "Reveal" and copy your Secret key (starts with sk_)
  4. Paste them in the fields above and click Save
